Chairnificine by Gustavo Brenck

Seeing this makes me wish I had space in my house for it, the Chairnificine by Gustavo Brenck manages to be both creative and spooky at the same time. Brenck captures the concept perfectly, with this chalk outline chair complete with carpet made to resemble a pool of blood. It's really a piece of furniture but I'm putting it in the art section, any questions? I know, I'll make space for it.

The Eraser by Brian Cook

Threadless.com is known for always supplying dope tees, they are also notorious for being like Studio 54 in the 70's. Extremely hard to get into, from a designers point of view. I like to swing by every once in a while to check out the new stuff. Gotta say, I'm going on record to say that the Eraser by Brian Cook aka Chengui is one of the best designs of the year. It has thus far hit the 4th print mark, been recognized on the sight's Emptees list, and named Tee of the MONTH. Looks like Mr. Cook has been racking up the awards lately, take a look.

Kira Shaimanova Helping Hand ‘Chivalry is Undead’ Series

Sculpted and painted by Toronto artist Kira Shaimanova , this piece is certainly a conversation starter. Depicting a little girl piggie back riding a hideously disfigured, yet lovable undead zombie. I love the way the kid is holding the zombies arm to get tha candy. Some one has a sick sense of humor.

Chow Hon Lam ‘Flying Mouse 365’ Project

Designer Chow Hon Lam has vowed to produce seven new pieces every week for his ‘Flying Mouse 365’ project, the idea is to make seven new graphic art designs (one each day of the week) for the span of a year. The illustrations will then be printed over t-shirts and will be sold on Hon Lam’s web site. All the images are bubbling with colors and characters, while dripping with irony, putting a light-hearted comedic twist to it all. For more info click the link to visit Flying Mouse 365

Ron English X ToTT ‘Mandala Grin’ Jigsaw Puzzle Release

I really don't have the Patience for puzzles, but I would buy this, bring it home, call up some needy soul, and fairly compensate them to assemble this thing. That's how dope the art work is on Ron English's ‘Mandala Grin’. After a great kick off with Mike Giant’s Rollin’ High dice, Tools of the Trade bounce back with this insane piece... or should I say pieces. The 1,000 piece Mandala Grin puzzle features Ron’s signature character style, that kinda looks like Charlie Brown to me, I like it. San Fransisco-based Medicine Agency will be hosting a special launch event on December 12, 2009 and Ron will be there signing autographs. So gear up.

Phantaci x Nike Air Max 1 Grand Piano

Words by Nate Green

Taiwanese musician, and owner of Phantaci Jay Chou’s has teamed up with Nike yet again. In 08' the team created a version of the Air Max 1 that for whatever reason never saw the light of market. The two teams are back for a second time, and this time we will get a chance to see the outcome.

Chou, being a musician & mastering the Grand Piano, chose to go that route in the design of color and material in this Air Max 1. Hence the Ebony and ivory style colorway accented with Phantaci’s signature pink and finished off with a touch of gold on the heel panel. 400 limited pair will be dropping soon so keep an eye out, I know I will.

Long Live The King-- SBTG's Varsity Bones "Thriller"

R.I.P. to the King of Pop, and as a token Singaporean sneaker customizer SBTG and his Varsity Bones collection unveiles "the Thriller". Gotta get these. Styled to resemble the iconic leather jacket worn by Jackson in the classic Thriller video, these red and black leather kicks are definitely on my top 10 of the year. The zipper styling is crazy along the tong and wrapping the top of the sole, and the gold SBTG piece ads the icing to the cake. The only thing missing now is the glitter glove... just kidding.--

Dame's Revenge

Dame Dash has finally come from under whatever roc in which he has been hiding for the past few years. He launches his triumphant comeback in the form of the "BlakRoc", a mix tape consisting of the likes of Mos Def, Q Tip, Ludachris, Jim Jones, and a posthumousappearance form the late ODB to name a few. This thing has got some of the craziest production to come out of New York in some time. At least 75% of the album is not only solid but at times great, and in today's rap market that's really saying something. Check out "Ain't Nothing Like You by Mos Def & Jim Jones. I first heard this song while browsing world star, they had the studio footage as the song was being created. It was love at first listen, I ad only heard the raw version but it put me on the send for the mix tape.

Got that Macgyver?

"Macgyver" by Garcia Vegas
We shot this video in downtown Dallas and Love Field Airport. It was funny because we did so much driving looking for good locations my car fucked up on me. Not to worry though, thanks to my pit crew, I was back in the race later that day. And after it all we ended up with a pretty cool video, Check it out 4 your self.
