Holavalate by Greg Wilsen

Bio:
Greg Wilsen

I started with computers six years ago, and immediately became interested in making artworks. using stock images and certain widely available graphics apps, I developed a style of digital artwork over the next couple of years. There are several original works I have available to display in electronic media. These can be printed and framed whenever requested by a customer or client. Before coming to the SoCal area, I lived in the Pacific Northwest, and worked with photos. My wife and I have been together going on nine years here in Oceanside. We do photo-oriented work and offer other products and services in a storefront location, 223 Brooks St. (760) 521-1772.

Ojo del Creador by Greg Wilsen

"I begin with either my own photos or with stock images in the public domain, or both. Also use widely available software programs as a digital studio. Images can be transformed, morphed together, and modified proportionally with these apps. I can then touch up or modify areas with digital painting or drawing. Some of my artworks involve virtual pasting or layering of multiple images". Greg Wilsen

Picasso’s Guernica

Arguably one of his finest and most influential paintings, Pablo Picasso’s Guernica is seen above in a completely different light, thoroughly examined in digital 3D through this intriguing video.
“Guernica is a painting by Pablo Picasso, depicting the bombing of Guernica, Basque Country, by German and Italian warplanes at the behest of the Spanish Nationalist forces, on April 26, 1937, during the Spanish Civil War. The Spanish Republican government commissioned Pablo Picasso to create a large mural for the Spanish display at the Exposition Internationale des Arts et Techniques dans la Vie Moderne (1937) Paris International Exposition in the 1937 World’s Fair in Paris.
Guernica shows the tragedies of war and the suffering it inflicts upon individuals, particularly innocent civilians. This work has gained a monumental status, becoming a perpetual reminder of the tragedies of war, an anti-war symbol, and an embodiment of peace. On completion Guernica was displayed around the world in a brief tour, becoming famous and widely acclaimed. This tour helped bring the Spanish Civil War to the world’s attention.”

My Business Card

Front Back

Born Cool by Nate Green

One day I was browsing the net and came across the fattest baby I had ever seen. I mean the baby was so fat it inspired me to create this piece. I love bright vibrant colors and I also liked the idea of the sky blueish and pink colliding. It kinda makes me think buddha baby the way he appears to be atop a great mountain. I'm not real big on symbolism, I mean I love it in other people's art but as for my own, I just kinda design what I find dope. At least that was the case with this piece, it was really all about the coolness of the baby. I also deigned a shirt based on the design, check em out.

White 2010 Jordan's

I posted the 2010 Jordan's earlier, and I kinda bashed em (see previous entry). That was before I saw the all white colorway, I heard they existed but hadn't seen them yet. At the risk of whistling a different tune too soon, I'll go out on a limb and say I like em. Granted I have only seen them from one angle so far, I must say they are petty impressive and I don't normally like all white shoes. Check em out.

Nike Air Jordan 2010

Sooo these are the new Jordan's. I gotta say, I don't like them. I mean I have never really been a fan of Jordan's but not because they were ugly, so much as everybody seemed to have them. Sure there were different colorways released but they never were exclusive enough for me. However with the introduction of the 2010 version now picking up steam, I must admit that I think they are not very appealing. I'm sure some of the die hard Jordan fans will disagree with me but that's my opinion. Here's a few pics, you be the judge. p.s. The boat on the other hand is fly.
